How to Recycle Trusscore Products

Trusscore offers a comprehensive recycling program to ensure offcuts and excess material are recycled up to six or seven times to make new PVC-based building materials. Whether you have material left over from a small garage renovation or a large commercial project, there are three ways to recycle Trusscore products.

Option 1: Drop Off in a Return Polymers FULL-CIRCLE Recycling Program Bin

Trusscore partners with Return Polymers Inc. to support its recycling program through the FULL-CIRCLE Recycling program.

Return Polymers delivers totes or bins to a central collection point where contractors or do-it-yourselfers can drop off PVC offcuts to be recycled into new PVC-based building materials.

The following PVC materials can be placed in collection bins:

• Trusscore PVC offcuts

• PVC deck scrap

• PVC trim scrap

• PVC siding scrap

• Rigid forms of PVC like pipes or siding

Bins can’t be used for regular garbage because it contaminates the recyclable material.

This program is currently available in select US states. To inquire about:

Option 2: Recycle Through a Municipal or Private Recycling Facility Near You

Trusscore products can be recycled through municipal facilities or private recycling facilities where PVC material is accepted.

Recycling options vary across North America:

• Check with your municipal recycling facility

• Confirm they accept and recycle PVC

• Ask about their specific guidelines

If municipal recycling is available near you:

• Trusscore products can be returned to the facility

• Follow the facility's guidelines for PVC materials

• Ensure material is properly prepared per facility requirements

Option 3: Return It to a Trusscore Manufacturing Site

Trusscore customers can return offcuts directly to one of Trusscore's two manufacturing sites in Canada.

To prepare offcuts for return:

• Cut offcuts down into 12″ to 24″ lengths

• Package pieces together for safe shipment

• Ensure material is free from contaminants

To be accepted for recycling, Trusscore products must be free from the following contaminants:

• Paint of any kind

• Silicone

• Dirt, mud, or salt

• Chemicals, oils, or solvents

• Coatings or any other substance

• Debris such as sawdust from wood or other materials

• Screws or other fasteners

• Picture hooks

• Pin nails

• Any lodged items
